Introducing Daisuke Imanaka He was a rider of Shimano Racing Team in amateur and had 3 victory in Tour de Hokkaido, and more, 3 successive championships in National Athletic Meet. He built up status from his result. In 1994, he had debut as professional rider and made contract with Team Polti. He participated in Giro D'Italia in 1995, and next year in Tour De France as a First Japanese Professional Rider. And this year, he got points of World Cup Series. In 1997, he retired professional rider and established Intermax Co. Ltd. Now he runs this company and appears in many TV and radio programs, bicycle magazines and general magazines as a commentator and a instructor, also a test rider. The archive site in 1999 is here. |
